As of May 2020, this pathogen was listed in the UK Plant Health Risk Register, but has since been archived as it is considered to pose a low risk to the UK. Crops considered to be a risk include: Cucurbita pepo, Brassica rapa subsp. pekinensis, Solanum tuberosum. As of 23rd June 2024, no genome sequence data was publicly available for the type strain of this species.
